The oil products manufactured in our refineries are transported to service stations (SS), oil depots, thermal power plants and petrochemical plants all over the country; for transportation we use tankers for inland transportation, tanker trucks, railway tankers or pipelines. The most efficient and safest means is always chosen, taking into consideration distance, cost and geographical factors.
In order to improve the transportation efficiency of the tanker truck, the tank is sub-divided into smaller tanks, so as to allow several different types of oil, such as regular gasoline, high-octane gasoline, diesel fuel and kerosene to be delivered to a SS, at the same time.

There are about 4,000 Cosmo Oil service stations (SS) located all over Japan, and in response to customer demand we are increasing the number of Self-Service SSs. The network of Auto B-cle outlets is also being expanded; Auto B-cle offers a vehicle inspection service and with a wide range of car parts and fittings helps keep our customers' cars in good working order. We aim to not only sell gasoline, but also for each SS and each staff member to constantly improve our customer service.
